Role in summary


This is an exciting opportunity to join an award winning, fast-paced marketing agency as our new Account Executive.

In this role you will support the Client Services team with the delivery of smooth running campaigns and projects for some of the worlds biggest FMCG brands like Lucozade, Ribena, McCain, Nestle and Pringles - ensuring they happen on time, on brief and importantly on budget. Working at pace will be important as will being organised, having the ability to prioritise and having a love of brands and the retail world.

This role will be ideal for someone looking to progress their career in client services Marketing, as you’ll have ample opportunity to learn from those around you, absorbing their experience while building your own.

We’re looking for individuals with previous work experience within a Marketing or Creative agency, ideally having worked with FMCG clients for at least 6 months. Above all, someone who understands the value of building great working relationships both with clients and colleagues.

The role in detail

  • Acting as a point of contact between client services, creative and the client, you help manage the day-to-day flow of projects ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and on brief
  • Assist in planning key stages of the project in terms of getting the right creative resource in place, planning budgets and preparing project timelines
  • Writing creative briefs for the design team
  • Organising and attending meetings, taking detailed notes and creating action points and deliverables
  • Liaising with client contacts, responding to requests for information, status updates and ad-hoc queries
  • You’ll have oversight of the financial management of projects ensuring the team always have up to date information where you’ll create cost estimates, raise purchase orders and record accurate information on our financial systems
  • Liaising with suppliers to gather estimates which will feed into the budget for each project
  • Keeping accurate records, ensuring everything is filed with correct job numbers on our systems and carrying out general admin
  • Carrying out product/retail audits and research to see establish what the competition is up to
  • Arranging photo shoots and dealing with suppliers / contractors
  • Co-ordinating information for pitches and presentations.

Skills and experience we’re looking for

  • At least 6 months experience, preferably in a marketing, branding or advertising agency environment
  • An organised and proactive self starter
  • Excellent communicator
  • A love of retail and brands, particularly Food and Beverage
  • An ability to work autonomously
  • Good attention to detail and project management skills
  • Good financial management and commercial acumen
  • Agile mind and inquisitive nature
