- Commercial Accountant, Newly-Qual

Our client is a market leading organisation based in the Glasgow City Centre. They will offer hybrid working for the successful candidate.
The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:
- Owner of cashflow, reviewing regularly to ensure business continuity.
- Managing Cashflow forecast, to be provided for calculations periodically.
- Work with the FP&A team through the Business Partnering approach to perform strategic review projects across the business.
- Perform the periodic cash flow analysis, to be provided to the Senior Reporting Accountant.
- Perform detailed analysis on capital, cashflows and ratios to assist the Senior Reporting Accountant on the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Review P2P processes and make continual improvements.
- Make continuous improvements to processes.
- Contribute to the accurate and timely production of financial returns required for financial reporting, including statutory reporting, internal reporting, reporting to partners/Group/other stakeholders.
- Review comprehensive reconciliations and appropriate controls
- Prepare and post journal entries to the Ledger as required.
- Review journals posted to the Ledger by Finance Assistants.
- Perform commercial work programme as directed to identify, design, develop and implement process, technology and business change improvements.
- Build strong working relationships across all functions including providing training/guidance as directed.
- Identify control weaknesses, recommending control procedures to reduce risk and develop procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- IT literate with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
- Strong technical ability
- Previous exp managing and delivering a high performing team
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- Logical and methodical approach to the role
- Driven to drive efficiencies with a commercial focus
This role offers a competitive salary between £45,000-£50,000 plus benefits.
