Legal Administrator
Up to £21,255 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6C)
Sheffield, S9 3QS (Office Based)
Full time, 37.5 hours or part time, minimum 20 hours available. Monday-Friday, fixed shift pattern to be agreed between 8am and 5.30pm

We’re looking for administrators to join our probate team at Co-op Legal Services.

In this role, you’ll support case handlers with a variety of administrative tasks to make sure our clients are receiving the best service. Whilst you don’t need any legal experience for this role, you’ll gain great exposure to a variety of legal work. So, if you have the skills we’re looking for, we can offer you the opportunity to grow and develop in an ethical legal business.

What you’ll do

  • progress cases on behalf of case handlers by making outbound telephone calls to third parties to gather information and following up when required
  • support case handlers by drafting letters and forms
  • work effectively from a task list within a case management system
  • complete a variety of ad-hoc requests to meet the needs of the team which may include speaking with customers on the telephone

This role would suit people who have

  • comfortable with a role that involves making a high volume of outbound calls to third parties
  • the ability to communicate professionally and sensitively with customers, colleagues, and third parties on the telephone and in writing
  • great organisational skills and a strong attention to detail
  • the ability to build meaningful relationships with colleagues and work well as part of a team in an office environment
  • the ability to prioritise your work and adapt to multiple requests
  • a proactive and professional approach to your work with a willingness to learn and develop
