Job Title: Pensions Administrator – (2 positions available)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 hardworking individuals in the team responsible for administering employer payroll related local government pension scheme information to a number of local government pension funds, including North Yorkshire, Tyne and Wear, Cumbria, Durham, Teesside and West Yorkshire. The main responsibilities of the role include, but is not limited to;
Furthermore, the roles are also required to manage the pensioner payroll of over 25,000 pensioners. This part of the role requires the successful candidates to;
The nature of the work is detailed and fast paced, so the successful candidates will be organised, self motivated with a great eye for accuracy. Other skills desirable upon appointment will be excellent computer, numeracy and literacy skills. These roles are full time (37 hours per week), 8:30 - 5:00 Monday - Thursday, 8:30 - 4:30 on a Friday. Part time staff will be considered too, if full time is not appropriate for you.
In return, the successful candidates will become part of a successful and hardworking team, you will receive full training on all aspects of the role. The role is currently hybrid, working from the office and at home. However, office space is available to work 100% in the office if this is preferred by the candidates. The role comes with a generous leave entitlement of 28 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 33 days after 5 years’ service. There is also the ability to work extra and use flexi time up to a maximum of 2 days per month.
