Administrator - Eye Centre | Spire South Bank | Worcester | £20,397 per annum FTE + Extensive Benefits | Part Time - 15 hours / 2 days

Spire South Bank Hospital is a state-of-the-art private hospital. We have over 30 years’ experience providing personalised healthcare with fast access to consultations in a wide range of specialities, supported by some of the most advanced technology including the latest imaging scanners and a laparoscopic (keyhole) theatre.

This position is a Part-time, fixed term contract (9 months) working 15 hours per week over 2 days.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To greet and provide a customer-focused, professional and effective service that exceeds expectations to all patients, consultants and you will be welcoming, registering and directing patients, consultants and hospital teams. Operating the hospital switchboard in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring all calls or enquires are responded to in a timely manner. Booking follow up appointments for patients, processing and collecting credit/debit card details both over the phone and face to face.
• You don’t need a medical background as full training is provided for you. If you are confident working in a team, can work under pressure, confident in speaking to people and can work across multiple medias such as phone/email/online and paper based forms simultaneously, then you may be suitable for this role. The main thing we want from you is the ability to provide a 1st class service.

Who we're looking for:

• Someone who is highly organised and accurate and works well to tight deadlines
• Track record of successful delivery in a similar role, in an office and / or customer service environment.
• Must be a good communicator, excellent telephone manner, have good computer literacy with experience and knowledge of Excel, Word and customer data bases
• Someone who works well as part of a team but also able to work with little supervision.
