Position: Area Cleaning Manager

Salary: £30,000 per annum + company car, fuel card, laptop, mobile

Location: Covering sites throughout Salisbury, Reading & surrounding areas.

Full Time and Permanent Role (40 hours per week)

Our client is a leading multi service provider in the UK Facilities sector.

As a result of winning a new contract with a major retailer they are looking to recruit an Area Cleaning Manager to be responsible for cleaning operations in around 33 retail convenience stores.

Key responsibilities include:

• The Area Cleaning Manager will be responsible for the management & provision of cleaning services to several retail convenience stores in Salisbury, Reading and surrounding area
• The Area Cleaning Manager will ensure that KPI’s and Weekly Store Services Checks are delivered to defined standards and corrective action is taken as required
• To recruit and effectively train cleaners in the area
• To manage the area and store costs within budget and ensure the requirements of Health & Safety are followed.
• Develop / maintain strong relationships with their client through regular contact
• Carry out weekly and monthly cleaning audits

Candidates background & experience: -

• Multi-Site / or single-site Cleaning Management experience
• Cleaning background in food or similar environment
• Team player
• Good communicator
• Results driven
• Proficient in IT in the use of Excel, Word & Email

The role is working 40 hours a week, 6 days out of 7 so would involve some weekend work.

Candidates need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and for a very demanding client.

This role would suit someone already in a multi-site cleaning management role or in a Cleaning Manager role looking to move into multi-site management.

Candidates need to be prepared to be hands-on when required.

Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence and live in / around the Salisbury / Reading area and be prepared to travel on a daily basis.
