Key Responsibilities

  • Be an active member of the Sales team, drive growth within the Government FM sector
  • Take on responsibility for new opportunities within the Government FM sector
  • Drive and support on all new larger opportunities
  • Where identified, support the Bid Manager in the construction of tenders, all tender documentation, tender strategy development and communication
  • To encourage all members of the Business Development Team to participate in departmental and company activities
  • Create, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with all colleagues and departments across the Company. This will include staff working within regional offices, the Client and others in the external environment
  • Deputise for Solutions Director as requested

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications

  • Proven ability in sales/commercial development (preferably from a Facilities Management background)
  • Good commercial acumen with an appetite to grow and drive sales
  • Willingness to develop and learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – with the ability to build good working relationships
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative to a high level of accuracy and to meet deadlines
  • Quick-thinking and able to operate at pace/under pressure
  • Degree level education
  • 3+ years’ experience in a sales/operational role
