Due to exciting growth in our HR and Learning Team at Severfield, we are currently looking to recruit an Early Careers Advisor, based out of our office in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
The purpose of this role is to support with the delivery of the Severfield Early Careers Strategy taking an active role in all Skills, Employment and Education related activity, ensuring high quality target delivery in Early Careers and with the external providers.
This position allows the opportunity to coordinate and attend Early Careers/Graduate/Apprentice events, such as schools, college and campus events and fairs, to promote career opportunities, inspiring young people and attracting prospective Early Careers candidates to join Severfield. They will need the ability to develop, coordinate and support targeted school programmes, including work experience placements.
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, building excellent working relationships with business stakeholders, external training providers. Working with the wider HR team to coordinate early careers recruitment and events. Having some experience working with young people in an educational setting will be desirable, ideally with good understanding of STEM subjects. Strong presentations skills and good working knowledge of MS Office is also required.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:15 and Friday 08:30 - 15:00. Severfield have a hybrid working policy which can be discussed at interview with the hiring manager.
