The Role

Reckitt at Hull is one of the oldest sites in history and has been transformed over the years, but you can still feel the heart and heritage of the business and the community. Brands including: Durex, Dettol, Enfamil, Nurofen, Strepsils, Gaviscon, Mucinex, Lysol, Harpic, Cillit Bang, Finish and Vanish. As an Asset Carer you will:

• Ensure appropriate resources, assets and time are available for the application of a systematic approach to Engineering Maintenance which uses performance indicators to routinely deliver targets and drive performance improvement.
• Ensure all items of plant and equipment are maintained to the appropriate standards in accordance with the principles of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice).
• Monitor plant operational efficiency, reliability and capability of all plant and equipment.
• Ensure that a uniform approach to maintenance is implemented across shifts.
• Monitor and control maintenance spend to meet annual budgets and ensure value for money is obtained.

You’ll succeed if you have the following experience & qualifications…

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of Manufacturing.
• Dealing with people at all levels of expertise, with the ability to communicate skilfully with people at their level of understanding.
• Have great knowledge and understanding of manufacturing process and cGMP requirements and their criticality to the product quality.
• Are willing to take ownership, take decisions & be accountable.
