Or

1. Caretaker & Pool Operator 1: Weekends

2. Caretaker & Pool Operator 2: Monday to Friday.

There is a possibility of additional hours to cover other team members and during the school holidays.

About the Role:

Willow Tree Primary School is in Harrogate, within easy reach of both York and Leeds and close to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Our school is looking for two active and flexible colleagues to join the team of Caretakers to provide a high quality and effective caretaking service to ensure a secure, safe and hygienic environment for all users of our large school premises.

The successful candidate will have experience of general maintenance and gardening and must be prepared to learn the intricacies and upkeep of our Swimming Pool as well as undertaking general Health and Safety training courses, as appropriate.

This role will include:

• The management of site security relating to the letting of the school premises, including the swimming pool, for community use in the evenings and at weekends
• Opening and locking up before and after lettings
• Ensuring the site is safe and Health and Safety issues are dealt with
• Responsibility for the swimming pool plant operation and pool testing during this time
• Undertaking any cleaning required after lettings.
