As a Chef at Sodexo in Nuffield The Vale Hospital, you will work under the guidance of the head chef and be responsible for managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. What you’ll do:

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and specifications
• Assist in menu planning and recipe development
• Comply with all Company and hospital policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and organised

What you bring:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent or relevant working experience
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect

• Monday to Friday, shifts between 06:30 and 20:00 with 1 weekend in 4 weeks
• Example shifts:

Weekday- 06:30-14:30,09:00-18:00 or 12:00-20:00
Saturday- 07:00-19:00
Sunday- 07:00-15:00
