Job Description

My client based in Truro is looking for an administrator to join their small team. This role will be ongoing for several months and for the right candidate will likely lead to a permanent role after 12 weeks.

This role is to start immediately, working hours are Monday - Friday 08.00-16.30with an hours lunch break.

Depending on experience this role will be paying £ 11.15 -£11.88 per hour


Role:

Providing admin support to the PA, and provide support with the training and education of the team.

  • Process all mail, inbound and outbound, ensuring all correspondence is handled promptly
  • Ensuring all phone calls are answered, messages taken or calls transferred to the correct department
  • Keeping the staff rota up to date
  • Recording and monitoring staff annual leave applications
  • Ensuring all overtime is logged correctly and month claim forms are processed
  • Maintaining staff records
  • General admin duties
  • Maintaining the Trusts policies and procedures - and making sure staff are up to date with any changes
  • Provide training for all new starters and less experienced staff - as and when needed
  • Taking and transcribing formal minutes and audio dictations


Skills

  • Minimum of a couple of years admin experience
  • Be a competent user of Microsoft office, including outlook
  • Ability to audio type and transcribe minutes
  • Experience working in the medial sector would be desirable but not essential
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for details and accuracy.
