Job Description

The Performance Business Analyst will be responsible for verifying the accuracy and integrity of performance measurement reporting and risk management analysis for institutional and high net worth clients. The Analyst will interpret and communicate on the quality of information delivery tool data and functionality to internal partners including product management, application development, production support and performance operations. The Analyst will generate and understand various equity and fixed income and risk measurement analyses, obtain data and analysis in accordance with established procedures, create spreadsheet macros, and develop reports to support these efforts. You may interface with stakeholders across multiple platforms and client segments.

Job responsibilities

  • Works independently as well as on a team to verify performance/risk analytics at multiple levels
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding performance/risk reporting and p articipate in stakeholder meetings as required
  • Assist stakeholders in identify, documenting and resolving production issues , and e stablish and maintain relationships with key internal operations
  • Partner with performance operations to understand client behavior where required
  • Interpret and write commentary on functional testing results
  • Possess business-level understanding of platform functions (i.e. how to calculate rates of return)
  • Understanding of client reporting and custom reports (including steps for insuring accuracy and quality)

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
  • Experience working in a performance and/or accounting environment required
  • BA/BS or equivalent preferably in business/finance or math
  • Excel proficiency a must
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to work hard and be on a steep learning curve
  • Attention to detail with demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Must have a willingness to work on and learn new software applications
  • Must have good communications skills and be a team player

  • CIPM candidates are encouraged
