Our innovative Rehabilitation in Complex Psychosis Community Mental Health Service is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Community Team Manager to join our team.

We are a new service, based at Hellesdon Hospital, covering the Norwich, North Norfolk and South Norfolk area. We provide assertive support to adults with complex psychosis, to help them achieve their Recovery-focussed rehabilitation goals. The team is a pioneering multi-agency project, and along with NSFT colleagues (nursing, OT, psychology, psychiatry and pharmacy), we have fully-integrated substance misuse support from Change, Grow, Live (CGL), social workers from Norfolk County Council, recovery and peer support workers from Together, and mobile legal advice from Norfolk Community Law Service.

The role of Community Team Manager is really important to the ongoing success of our service. We’re looking for a dynamic individual with excellent leadership skills to work innovatively and confidently. We are looking for someone who can communicate in a professional manner with a wide range of people to achieve the best outcome. The successful candidate will work closely with other senior rehabilitation colleagues including medical, psychology, social work, and allied health professional colleagues.

We are looking for someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about the care of adults with complex psychosis and rehabilitation needs, and their families. This post will provide you with the opportunity to develop and work within a specialist MDT setting, where you will hold a small caseload. You will also be responsible for supporting individual staff with developing their performance in their clinical work, and assisting with sound decision-making, safeguarding and quality assurance.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about governance and providing good quality care. You will be involved in supporting governance such as audit and best practice in line with Nice Guidelines and the Royal College of Psychiatrists “Quality Network for Mental Health Rehabilitation Services” community rehabilitation standards.
