Hunter Masons client has a great opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager working for a well established company.

Location: Head office - Polegate

Sites - Brighton, hastings and everything in a 20-25 mile radius

Salary: 40k per annum

About The role:

The company are looking for the ideal candidate to be able to travel across multiple sites, managing several projects at any one time. This could range from housing extensions, to refurbs to kitchen and bathroom fit outs.

Responsibilities:

• During the proposal stage assist the submissions team in preparing the method statement, logistics plans and potential health, safety and environment issues
• Walking the site and evaluates design information; reviews drawings and specifications.
• Ensuring approval of any temporary works.
• Ensuring meetings are being carried out.
• Producing the health and safety project executive plan.
• During the handover stage of the project, the construction manager compiles the snag list; supervise site clean; and confirms completion of work.
• Confirming the method statement and risk assessments are reviewed and are at an approved standard prior to works activities commencing. Ensuring safety managers are part of joint approval process.
