We are recruiting for a new Accounts Assistant role following a number of successful promotions. This role is a fantastic stepping stone into a fantastic career in finance. The role sits within our IBA team which is a specialist function within the accounting team of a large insurance broker.
Similar to both credit control and accounts payable you will be involved in speaking to both customers and clients, managing payments and reconciling accounts to a high standard. There is variety and breadth in the role and you will need to build fantastic relationships with your key external stakeholders and ensure these payments are made on time and in line with procedures.
No previous insurance/finance experience is required and full training will be provided. The roles would suit someone with good customer service skills, high levels of computer literacy, confident telephone manner, great administration skills and excellent mathematical abilities. The ideal candidate will need to show good communication skills and the ability to be a collaborative team player.
