Join Close Finance Channels Islands team where you will work within our Customer Support and Sales team, providing customer services taking incoming calls and assisting with front of house to the Guernsey office. Working as part of our team our ideal team member will have previous experience in a customer focused environment with enthusiasm and a commitment to learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing of customer proposals and recommending them in line with company policies and procedures
  • Liaising with motor dealers/brokers regarding the outcome / decisions of a proposal that has been submitted for underwriting.
  • Processing documents received that need to be paid out
  • Adhering to requirements of new dealer procedures along with certain database checks for items that may occur when underwriting
  • Operation of our proposal system with clear notes and rational that is to our company standard and audit process and within company and Group policies.
  • Assisting with the collection of fees that have accrued on customer accounts
  • Dealing with customer complaints and general queries

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience in a customer focused environment
  • Experience of working within a structured process
  • Excellent IT Skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • The ability to work well as part of a team

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

  • Knowledge of regulations relating to Compliance, Data Protection, Anti Money Laundering,
  • Previous experience in a lending and/or underwriting position
