Introduction

Are you looking for a career that's both analytical and collaborative? Our consultancy client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Data Analyst with strong project coordination skills to join their team.

In this role, you'll work with a team of passionate and innovative individuals who are dedicated to improving the way data is collected and analysed in the People function. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for analysing employee information, identifying trends, and providing insights that inform business decisions.

We're looking for someone with advanced Excel skills, who can manipulate large amounts of data and integrate digital tools to streamline processes and reporting more effectively.

Along with strong MS Office skills (Excel for Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP, Word, PowerPoint and Planner) plus knowledge of Power BI. As a hybrid role with 2-3 days on site per week in Leeds.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be highly analytical with a background in managing data within a fast-paced professional services or financial services business. Working knowledge of HR is helpful, but the ability to learn quickly and demonstrate a keen interest in developing a broad range of HR skills is equally important.

Key responsibilities
  • Analyse employee information and produce statistical reports on 3,000 staff in their UK business
  • Interrogate a range of information systems in order to analyse and produce reports
  • Provide HR management information, analysis and insights
  • Use and integrate digital tools to streamline processes and reporting more effectively
  • Develop compelling HR reporting and dashboards providing in-depth analysis about the data and what the metrics are saying
  • Deliver data and insights to the HR teams through knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Develop data analysis for salary review in line with timescales throughout the year
  • Provide project management support to the HR team managing projects throughout the year in line with the HR activity calendar
  • Ability to project manage HR related projects, creating project schedules, identify risks and ensuring timelines are agreed and met
  • You will manage competing and changing priorities which involve quick turn-around times so the ability to demonstrate experience of this is essential

Desirable skills but not essential:

  • Preferably experienced in the suite of iTrent modules and have knowledge of business objects but not essential
