Overview:
FTC 6- month, full-time, hybrid #LI-Hybrid
To support the Deputy MLRO FCP Policy and Governance in the co-ordination of FCP policy development, governance, training and oversight in an expanding department.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Deputy MLRO FCP Policy and Governance develop and implement policies and procedures related to various initiatives including: new business integration, client migration, new IT systems and process improvements
- Assist in the co-ordination, rollout and monitoring of FCP Training
- Assist in drafting minutes, scheduling meetings and collation of meeting materials
- Support the Deputy MLRO FCP Policy and Governance with collation of timely Management Information regarding policies, procedures and training
- Assist in the identification and understanding of new regulatory developments
- Ensure that cases, e-mails and requests are processed promptly and appropriately
- Review systems of record to ensure that records are maintained, systems of record are up to date, and that notes and descriptions of actions taken etc are clear and comprehensive to support the audit trail of actions and decisions taken.
- Support management and Deputy MLRO FCP Policy and Governance and the wider business with information requests, remediation exercises and thematic reviews
- Develop and strengthen relationships across the organisation to promote best practice and ensure a good understanding of FCP risk management requirements
- Other duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and background of money laundering regulations
- Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel/SharePoint skills
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to work independently
- Strong relationship building and communications skills are essential
- Effective planning, organisational and time management skills
- Must have excellent analytical skills
- Willingness and keenness to learn about Financial Crime Prevention
- Needs to be a confident decision maker, able to use good judgement and experience to articulate and document decision making rationale.
