Your new role:

As our brand new Senior Manufacturing Manager, you will play a key role in one of our exciting factories in the UK.

You will oversee the activities of a growth-driven sweet treat business, setting standards of excellence throughout the company. You will have overall responsibility for the management of business resources, establishing strategic goals and formulating plans to drive profitable growth and sales.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Safety: A safety first approach for our people and products.
  • People: Recruit, train and motivate, whilst managing performance & driving succession plans for career development.
  • Quality: Commitment to quality with only the highest quality products being allowed to leave the premises.
  • Facilities: Take responsible for the entire facility (inc any office or other spaces and outside areas). Maintenance and cleanliness in high on the agenda creating a fit for purpose, happy working environment for all our Krispy Kremers.
  • P&L: Take ownership and accountability for managing stock, internal revenue, costs and profit.

A bit about our Peterborough Factory:

Our Peterborough Hub runs a tight ship with one line in production function. Key focus for this Hub this year will be around driving team engagement and streamlining processes, leading from the front. A fantastic fast paced site with exciting future plans.

Your style and CV:

Your previous hands-on knowledge of working within a production/processing environment will put you in a fantastic position to drive our culture and put the people at the heart of decisions. Your proven track record of sustained success and your passion for safety and quality will be reinforced with a natural ability to manage a varied workload. This exciting role will see you demonstrate your expertise in building high performing teams, paving the way for our Managers of the future.

  • Previous management experience within food manufacturing, bakery or other daily, fresh food environments is essential.
  • A proven track record in safety and product quality.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • A balanced people v commercial business approach.
  • Experience of organising multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Self-driven and goal orientated.
  • Experience and knowledge of continuous improvement techniques (6 Sigma, Lean etc) is desirable.
  • P&L management experience.
