Job Title: Welcome Host

Department: Catering and Hospitality

Location: Tynecastle Park Stadium, Edinburgh, EH11 2NL

Salary: £10.90 per hour (zero-hour's contract)

Hours: The successful candidate will normally be offered work between Thursday and Sunday. A rota will be provided on a weekly basis.

Closing Date: 25 May 2023 (close of play)

Reporting to: Head of Hospitality & Catering

The Club are looking for a Welcome Host to join the Hospitality & Catering Team. The successful candidate will be the first person to greet our guests, so it is key to providing that warm and welcoming first and lasting impression. Our Welcome Hosts follow the guest journey and will be supporting different departments often at busy times. A calm and professional demeanor is required whilst under pressure and the ability to react effortlessly to unexpected circumstances is key to the role.

If you are passionate about hospitality and have the confidence to create a great rapport with our guests, then this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet each one of our valued guests with a warm and friendly smile.
• Ensure guests are aware of the stadium’s facilities, providing personalised recommendations on other department services wherever possible to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure our high standards are delivered and maintained at all times.
• Provide our guests with the warmest hospitality, ensuring they want to return.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous hospitality experience or within a similar environment.
• Have strong communication skills.
• Be passionate and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellent customer service.
• Have good organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure.
• Above all, demonstrate a strong team work ethic with a can-do attitude, proven professionalism, and excellent timekeeping.
• Evidence Legal Right to Work in the UK is essential.
