We currently have a great opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join our client based in Irvine. Operating for over 50 years, this reputable building contractor has a strong reputation within the market and their customer focused culture of building relationships, is based on trust. Within your new position as a IT Support Engineer, you will be supporting a range of office software, a multi-site network and specialist industry packages. Your day to day will also include being responsible for 1st and 2nd line queries, solving problems, collaborating with team members across various departments to assist them with their technical requirements.

Experience required:

  • IT related degree or equivalent
  • Experience of working within technical support
  • You will be working in a Windows environment so the ability to support this and the range of Microsoft 365 products is necessary
  • An understanding of physical and wireless networking would be advantageous, as would experience of Microsoft SQL Server databases and reporting
  • Ideally you will have had exposure to the construction industry; however this is not essential
  • Good interpersonal skills (written and spoken)
  • You will be self-motivated and have a proactive approach
