The Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Proteomics and Integrative Proteomics Data Analysis. The postholder will be expected to develop a research portfolio in line with the Division and Section strategy as well as playing a significant role in teaching within the Department. We seek applicants from leading scientists within the field of proteomics, with a strong publication history and track record for securing grant funding.
The successful candidate will work in a vibrant environment and will be expected to undertake undergraduate and graduate teaching responsibilities in this broad area, with opportunities for leadership roles within education. The postholder is expected to enhance the existing research and develop strategic areas to tackle unmet needs in the field for molecular proteomics, precision medicine and pathophysiology of diseases. It is expected that the postholder will have a record of excellent research training and productivity and have an international reputation in their scientific field with an established network of collaborators and demonstrate external influence in proteomics.
The successful candidate will be expected to be able to demonstrate the following key requirements:
PhD in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, molecular metabolism or related field or equivalent;
