Middleweight High-End Residential Interior Designer

Permanent

Salary Guide: £30,000 – £40,000

Summary

Middleweight Interior Designer with one of London’s top high-end interior design studios based in Chelsea. This established company have a talented team and are currently expanding due to an increase in residential projects. You will be working on a range of residential and hospitality projects in London and internationally, working as an all-round designer involved in interior design and interior architecture projects including FF&E Procurement.

Job description:

  • Working as am all-rounder you will be producing detailed drawings as well as FF+E schedules
  • Covering all stages of the design process from concept through to installation and completion.
  • Sourcing and procuring FF&E items including fabric specification.
  • Writing and coordinating detailed specifications, including budgeting and schedules.
  • Using technical and creative skills to contribute towards interior design concepts and drawing packages.
  • Working individually and proactively or as a collaborative team.
  • Reporting to the associate and senior designers.
  • Working to grow junior designers, mentoring and leading
  • Visiting site and liaising with suppliers and contractors.
  • Maintaining great client relationships with strong communication skills.

What you will bring:

  • Exceptional eye for great luxury design.
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Great knowledge of FF&E including supplies.
  • A good understanding of the entire design process.
  • Skills using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • A passion for luxury interior design.
  • Knowledge of the design tends and industry suppliers.
  • A great attitude and team player mindset.
