With this role you’ll be working as part of a pro active team, based in Camden
The team supports people with their issues regarding homelessness and substance misuse issues by supporting people through pathways off the street and in to support services where appropriate .

Have you got energy and drive? Do you want to work for an organisation that believes in people? Then you might be perfect for the role of Hotspot/Outreach Sessional Worker position on the Change Grow Live Routes off the Street Team in Camden.
In this exciting and dynamic role, you'll be part of a busy, friendly team supporting those who are involved in street activities such as begging, street drinking and rough sleeping to access support making a real difference in their lives. The team work alongside the police and Camden Community presence officers to ensure a joined up approach that addresses community safety needs alongside supporting individuals to access support.
No two days are the same: you’ll need to be flexible in your approach providing the best service for people experiencing homelessness and you’ll have to be proactive to ensure their ongoing support. Good communication skills, team-working, and an understanding of the issues faced by people experiencing homelessness/vulnerable individuals is essential (and having good knowledge of the borough and partnership links is desirable).
Given the nature of the job you will be required to work some unsocial hours, and some knowledge of at least one of the following is required: homelessness mental health, criminal justice system, and substance misuse. Plus, as recording information is an essential part of the role, enjoying a bit of paperwork and having good attention to detail is important too.

Salary Range (pro rata if part time): £18.81/Hr.
