Your Role:

  • You will support the development and maintenance of the Distrelec Own Brand and product categories, working closely with the product managers and Own Brand Manager to ensure focus is in line with the Brand strategy.
  • Supporting Own Brand NPI set up, managing critical path and ensure best in class content and data to support digital sales and search.
  • Supporting system changes specific to product, ensuring relevant stakeholders are informed of changes.
  • Being the first point of contact for sales teams to communicate customer product queries, taking ownership to resolve in a timely manner.
  • Contributing to the delivery of the Sales and Margin performance of the assigned product category in line with agreed targets.
  • Owning a small product category for future growth and experience in Own Brand Sourcing and Product Management

Day to Day Tasks:

  • Coordinate best in class content and data sheets for new product introductions, taking guidance from the product manager.
  • Checking and Proofreading product related artwork and marketing materials
  • Support PM team with legislation and compliance topics
  • Implement corrective actions from direct customer/sales feedback.
  • Manages and organizes the team’s email inbox with internal and external queries and decide on next actions
  • Pro-actively analyze product data and content to highlight any inconsistencies with pricing, margin, part numbers or product attributes.
  • Build strong relationships with product management, quality & compliance, marketing, suppliers and product data team for go to market.
  • Product life cycle management: support implementation of actions from full product manager review.
  • Marketing: Provide content needed to successfully market the product category(s)
  • Define key attributes and product classification for the website to improve search and online conversion, taking guidance from the product manager/supplier.
  • Highlight process improvements and drive efficiency.
  • Highlight any market opportunities that could drive future growth

We need you to have:


Experience in a relevant technical or commercial area (electronic engineering, sourcing, product management etc.) – desirable.


C1 Effective Operational Proficiency or advanced : ENGLISH

Knowledge of electronic and/or industrial components (or relevant technologies) and distribution – desirable but not essential.

Background and interest in Product sourcing, Purchasing / supply chain

Experience of online marketing, preferably in a distribution business - B2B or B2C (B2B preferred)

Understanding of modern digital marketing techniques

Proficient in the use of Product Information systems and MS Office (especially SAP, PIM, Excel and PowerPoint)
