Responsibilities include:
Involved in all elements of legal, risk and compliance for the Law Firm, providing an unrivalled opportunity to see how the business of a law firm operates and appreciate the variety of risks facing law firms.
Working alongside the General Counsel and Compliance Team to manage such risks.
Administering and involvement in policies and procedures,
Monitor and Administer the Firm's application of the SRA Code of Conduct to day-to-day practice legal Research, evidencing compliance by means of registers and assistance in varied and interesting day to day queries.
Taking the lead, with suitable supervision and guidance, on driving longer term risk projects, giving an opportunity to contribute to managing process efficiently and effectively.
Person Specification:
- You will be a experienced Paralegal with at least 2 years relevant knowledge.
- Prior experience of working within Risk and Compliance
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Good understanding of SRA regulations is required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritise along with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
