The team
We connect with millions of people every day, make content they can't get enough of, and reflect and shape the world we live in…and we do all this through the power of creativity. ITV’s ambition is to become a digitally-led entertainment and media company that creates and brings brilliant content to audiences, wherever, whenever and however they choose.
2022 was ITV’s most successful year for streaming, culminating in the launch of ITVX, the UK’s freshest streaming service. ITVX officially hit the one billion streams in April 2023, just over four months after the service’s launch, and has now overtaken All4 and Disney+ in terms of streaming platform consideration.
Part of the Media and Entertainment division, Partnerships and Distribution manages the distribution of all ITV channels and on-demand content and services in the UK, working across key partners such as Sky, Virgin Media, Apple, Amazon, Google and Samsung. Our distribution objectives are focused on maximising ITV’s monetisable reach, whilst also securing our position in an increasingly fragmented and competitive content ecosystem.
The role
The Distribution Partner Executive will support the day-to-day management of distribution platform partners, which include Apple, Amazon, Google and Samsung.
You will support the Director of Distribution - New Platforms and broader team with distribution activities on partner platforms (CTV & mobile), contributing to maximising the strategic and commercial value of ITV’s distribution across AVOD and SVOD, and maximising insights, audience reach and engagement.
You will be (or be expected to become) a ‘domain expert’ for the specific partner platforms including devices (CTV/mobile), UI/UX, audience behaviours and engagement, metadata, financial/insights reporting, partner’s strategic priorities in the UK market, and apps and initiatives by competitors (other PSBs and streamers).
You will take a central role in day-to-day activities including performance tracking, quarterly business reviews and insights reporting across Partnerships and Distribution. You will work collaboratively to help ensure that a broad cross-section of ITV teams - including Product, Technology, Data and Marketing - understand cross-functional Distribution initiatives and opportunities.
