We are currently seeking a resourceful, pragmatic, forward thinking and relational People Partner to join our expanding team.
The People & Culture team are on an exciting journey. We’re busy building a people function where we truly put people, and their experience, at the heart of everything we design, build, and deliver. Supporting and enabling the business to make sound people decisions for our workforce of approximately 1,350 is therefore central to the role of the People Partner.

This is a hybrid role that will work predominately at Gleneagles, involve occasional visits to The Gleneagles Townhouse in Edinburgh, but with the space to work from home too. Autonomous and flexible, it’s about being where you need to be, when you need to be there and making sure your presence and impact is felt by your stakeholders.

The on target earning potential for this role is £48,500 / annual salary - comprising a base salary of £45,000, plus a qualified estimate of £3,500 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:
Day to day you’ll be coaching, advising (and in some instances educating) our People Leaders on the full spectrum of people related / employee relations matters
You’ll take the lead role in the co-ordination and oversight of all employee relations activity ensuring that our People Leaders, People Advisors and Occupational Health Advisor are joined up and have a clear sense of direction and ownership
As the custodian of our ‘Moments that Matter’ framework, you’ll be making thoughtful decisions to ensure that when our people need our support, we’re there to catch them, embedding a fair and consistent approach across all department
Interrogating people data to identify the key drivers of engagement and retention, you will be the project owner of key People initiatives that drive lasting change and elevate the employee experience ensuring our people feel as valued as our guests
As a member of the People Operations team, you will be focused on delivering the beautiful basics brilliantly, offering a high quality, systematic and integrated service to our People Leaders and our people. You’ll be working alongside a Head of People Ops, People Manager, People Advisor, People Co-ordinator, Payroll & Benefits Manager and Occupational Health Advisor, all of whom work together in an integrated way to add value to the business
You’ll play an active role in offering value-adding and commercial astute advice to our People Leaders across a range of wider matters too whether that be driving improvements in their core people metrics, pay reviews, organisational design and restructuring, performance management or culture and engagement initiatives.
You’ll enjoy the added advantage of working alongside a team of like-minded People experts, being able to pull on the know-how and support of the wider team which encompasses Talent Attraction, Organisational Development and Comms and Engagement, so that together we deliver great outcomes
Working with this wider People Team, you’ll support on the design and delivery of regular culture clinics which build people leader confidence and capability in our key people priorities and core people processes
Developing strong, collaborative, and effective working relationships with business leaders at all levels of the business, you’ll develop a good understand of the support they require to deliver consistently on their people promises
Ensuring our core values are always upheld, you’ll be challenging behaviours that are inconsistent with this from front line to leadership, whilst role-modelling and bringing these to life for yourself.

CIPD qualified, you have high learning agility and an interest in continuous professional development.
You’re likely to be operating as either an HR Business Partner, People Partner or experienced HR Manager in a high paced, operationally minded business and have a proven track record of juggling case work with people related projects. As such, you’re au fait with managing the conflicting needs of reactive and proactive work.
