Bank Hand Therapist | The OrthTeam Centre | Manchester | Experience in hand therapy is essential

The OrthTeam is a group of highly skilled consultants who specialise in musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. Since formation in 2007, the OrthTeam has grown and developed to establish itself as one of the leading providers of MSK treatment and surgery in the North. We work together to provide an integrated approach, which ensures outstanding, personalised care for each patient.

Duties and responsibilities

• To provide a high standard of specialist hand therapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the physiotherapy department
• Discuss, agree and explain responsibilities for the therapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risks
• Using clinical reasoning skills develop treatment plans that are appropriate to the patient taking into consideration their physiotherapy care, risks and wellbeing.

Who we're looking for

• Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent
• HCPC registered
• At least 5 years’ post graduate experience
• Previous extensive experience is essential in specialist hand therapy (physio or occupational therapy considered)
• Experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating specialist hand cases
