Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a B3 Physiotherapy Assistant to support the delivery of our rehabilitation strategy for Intermediate Care Services at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. This B3 role will support our therapy team to provide high quality rehabilitation to patients accessing our service at Bexhill Irvine Unit.
The ESHT Rehabilitation strategy is focused on improving the quality and performance of our acute and community services to deliver high quality rehabilitation across East Sussex. This is a dynamic and changing environment, and the strategy is working to support our staff, teams and the organisation as a whole to make meaningful changes that bring about improvements in rehabilitation for the benefit of our population. The role of the band 3 Physiotherapy Assistant is key in delivering our strategy.
To assist the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapists in the rehabilitation of patients as required . To follow a rehabilitation program delegated by a qualified Therapist working without direct supervision at times. To feedback to qualified Therapists around any concerns identified impacting patient rehabilitation.
