Thompsons Solicitors LLP are looking for a Portal Paralegal to join our team of dedicated professionals, within our specialist National Fast Track Centre based in Sheffield. This role is to acquire evidence of injuries and losses on cases where liability has been admitted.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage their own caseload of portal cases, including road traffic accidents, employer and public liability. Day to day responsibilities include instructing medical experts, compiling medical records, taking witness statements, gathering loss of earnings details and evidence of other financial losses. Comprehensive training and ongoing supervision will be provided to ensure success in the role.

This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work methodically on a number of cases. A keen eye for detail along with outstanding communication and client care skills are key. An appetite for working within a high performance environment, where you are able to demonstrate stamina, resilience and self-motivation is a must.
