Principal Software Product Assurance Specialist

They are seeking a Principal Software Product Assurance Specialist to join their Product Assurance Software Quality team in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer to further develop their quality assurance skills by being part of the wider Product Assurance community within our organisation.

What you will do:

  • Support project activities to ensure the highest quality product
  • Work on and impact a wide range of high scale projects
  • Ensure quality is kept to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will have:

  • The capacity to oversee Project Quality Assessments, recognise risks and pressing problems, and contribute to regular reports.
  • A foundation in process-based design and development, quality control, and software development.
  • An understanding of international and national standards and assurance needs
  • A collaborative but objective attitude, with the capacity to work independently when necessary and drive change when it is needed
  • Engineering Degree, or equivalent, with an understanding of new and appropriate technologies
  • Experience or knowledge of DOORS, RTC, Rhapsody, MATLAB/Simulink would be beneficial though not essential

Salary and Benefits

This is a hybrid role based in Bristol with a salary of up to £55,000. It also comes with a circa £2,500 bonus, 14% pension contributions, paid overtime, free parking, subsidised meals, 25 days annual leave (plus holiday purchase)
