Are you an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing team? We are currently seeking a talented M&E Quantity Surveyor on behalf of our client, a leading consultancy firm, to be based in Reading.

In this role, you will have the chance to work on a range of projects, from large industrial and commercial schemes to fascinating ventures in the public and private sectors, including healthcare, insurance, government, and military sites. With contract values exceeding £30 million, these projects offer a stimulating and rewarding environment for you to showcase your skills.

Responsibilities: As an M&E Quantity Surveyor based in Reading, you will play a crucial role in providing a comprehensive range of M&E quantity surveying services under the guidance of a Team Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Offering expert advice on services costs for various building projects.
  • Evaluating costs and presenting alternative proposals when necessary.
  • Providing guidance on contract arrangements and conditions.
  • Managing all aspects of pre and post-contract work.
  • Preparing accurate measured term accounts for contractor-based clients.


Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A BSc in Quantity Surveying, a similar level degree, or a vocational qualification (or equivalent).
  • A clean UK driving licence.
