Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support this unique and ground breaking project.

This is a great opportunity to join a world leading organisation that specialises in infrastructure. They are responsible for designing and building part of the most exciting and challenging infrastructure projects in Europe.

Key Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor:

• Reporting to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager for relevant commercial aspects of a section of a project
• In depth knowledge and experience of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes
• Effective client relationship management to encourage smooth commercial progression of the contract(s)
• Demonstrates and maintains a high level of commercial and technical knowledge and works closely with the delivery team to develop techniques and solutions to meet business and customer needs
• Prepare subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate tender returns and make recommendations to appoint and places subcontracts accurately and on time

The Skills, Qualifications and Experience required to be a successful Quantity Surveyor:

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
• Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB
• Previous experience working in a civils/infrastructure project as a Quantity Surveyor.

Desirable:

• Experience in dealing with NEC3 contracts
