Imaging Receptionist | Healthcare| Competitive Salary plus excellent benefits | Horley | Full Time- Permanent

Spire Gatwick Park Hospital have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Imaging Receptionist to join our team on a Permanent basis.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Create a marketable differentiation for our patients. This will include meeting and greeting, introduction to hospital, impart key messages including infection control, philosophy of care, teamwork and core values, escort to room, completion of documentation “in room”, in stay contact, post discharge phone call and any other duties that may be required to be of further service to our patients
  • First impression to all Payor groups.
  • Serve as liaison between departments such as admissions, theatre, marketing and ward.
  • To provide patients with friends and family questionnaires and assist them to complete them if required.
  • To assist in the waiting area flow and management thereof.
  • To handle complaints at source ensuring the most convenient resolution and patient satisfaction, escalating when necessary to appropriate level.
  • To escalate to line manager any concerns relating to poor service and a poor experience of any patient
  • To participate in switchboard and main reception rotas.
  • To ensure all administration processes are adhered to according to Spire policy.
  • Deliver exemplary customer service and all core values.

  • Flexible approach to working day.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Full understanding and buy-in of our Spire Vision, Mission and values.
  • Good understanding of importance of infection control and cleanliness within the hospital.
  • Able to present key messages about the hospital (infection control, team work, clinical standards) within the course of general meet and greet conversation.
  • Ability to put people at ease.
