Overview:

The Royal Society of Chemistry has a wonderful opportunity for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our HR team on a fixed term basis until the end of 2023.


This is a part time position (17.5 hours per week) as part of a job share. We require this role to be over three consecutive days either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

Our HR team play a vital operational and hands-on role in supporting our business areas across the organisation and our international offices.


As a Recruitment Coordinator for the RSC you will provide professional, confidential and seamless administrative support and coordination to our Recruitment team.


We are looking for:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail and pride in accuracy, excellent oral/interpersonal skills with all levels of internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to coordinate the delivery of administrative support across key HR processes including recruitment, new starters and leavers.
  • Ability to balance and prioritise workload, remain composed and level-headed during periods of particularly busy activity, and being proactive in helping other members of the team when you have the opportunity.
  • The ability to maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive material and information.

The contractual base for this role is our Cambridge office, however as an organisation we are embracing hybrid working. Applicants should be aware that there is an expectation that employees will attend the office as required for their role.
