About Our Client

My client is a high end luxury retail company based in Central London. They were founded 5 years ago and the company has been growing ever since.

Due to this consistent growth they are now looking to hire Senior Credit Controller to join the company. This is especially exciting as this will be the first Credit Controller the company has ever hired.

This would be an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Credit Controller who can come in, set up processes and grow with the company.

Job Description

Senior Credit Controller, London

  • Customer risk management:
    • Customer credit check and credit limit management
    • Creation and management of the customer cards database in the ERP


  • Cash collection
    • Directly liaise with customers (national accounts, independents, distributors,…) to establish a good relationship and solve any payments issues
    • Enquire and reconcile deductions from payments
    • Reconcile and confirm statement of accounts


  • Sales order approval
    • Identification and release of sales orders to customers at risks and support achievement of the budget.


  • Bank
    • Daily banking and cash allocation


  • Reporting
    • Weekly Customer aging report communication to all departments, including risks summary, actions taken and to be taken
    • Analysis of old debts


  • Other
    • Support for potential issues with EDI to customers
    • Credit Insurance
    • Direct debit

The Successful Applicant

Skills, Qualifications and Experience


  • Experienced Credit Controller who can implement processes in relation to credit control
  • FMCG and/or beauty industry experience with main retailers as customers
  • Confident IT user - Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Business Central experience
  • International exposure (companies in UK but also in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France)
  • Multitasking, organized and open to additional responsibilities
  • Proactivity and problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and exercise judgement
  • Respect of strict deadlines and processes
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

What's on Offer

The successful candidate will be paid between £38,000 - £40,000 depending on experience as well as discounts and additional benefits.
