Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior IT Audit Manager to lead the IT operational internal audit team and related engagements. Reporting to the Internal Audit Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization's technology and security practices align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Lead the IT audit team, ensuring that audit plan and objectives are established and audit projects are completed on time and within budget
• Develop and implement an IT audit strategy and roadmap that aligns with the overall Internal Audit strategic plan to build the next generation audit function
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT, security teams and senior leadership
• Conduct risk assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls to identify potential areas of weakness or vulnerability in the organization's technology infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends to ensure that our IT audit practices are cutting edge and effective
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to ensure that risks are effectively managed across the organization
• Assist in preparing communication and presentations for the Audit Committee and other senior leadership
• Synthesize and communicate audit results, deliverables, and status in clear, succinct, and easy-to-understand terms
• Identify opportunities to leverage IT solutions to automate processes and create efficiencies in financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Utilize data analytics to enhance risk identification and quantification, and to provide valuable business intelligence to management
• Lead and participate in financial, operational and SOX audit work as needed

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 8+ years of relevant business experience in IT audit, or public accounting
• Relevant industry certifications, such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM, are highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of IT audit principles, techniques, and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership in managing performance with the ability to provide timely and continuous coaching and feedback to a team of IT audit professionals
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess risks and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
• Experience with assessing the implementation of IT controls frameworks, methodologies and standards such as COBIT, NIST, COSO, SOX, etc.
• Strong knowledge of IT controls, including security concepts and terminology related to applications, databases, operating systems and IT operations.
• Experience working in a complex IT environment is desirable
• Experience with analytics process automation or robotics process automation tools is a plus
