Purpose Statement:

The EMEA Senior Therapy Development Product Manager is responsible for driving the therapy development strategy in key franchises at the EMEA level (with focus in key markets,

UK, Germany, Spain & France).

Therapy Development is a systematic cadence of actions to drive faster adoption of our therapies. It is defined in a 7x7 matrix that outlines the therapy adoption phases and key actions to drive the process, collaborating across various business functions.

The role will be responsible to set up strategies per franchise to move therapies through the matrix , with special attention to:

  • Championing, building and piloting Value Proposition (VP) development for key franchises (Stone, BPH & SpaceOAR) but also for other secondary technologies within UroPH, to differentiate our therapies to payors and providers, whilst also adding value to our patient focused efforts.
  • Champion Data evidence generation requirements to support the delivery of the VP for EMEA in conjunction with the Med Affairs & HEMA teams
  • Contributing to designing and rolling out innovative solutions to drive therapy penetration.
  • Delivering practical tools & relevant training to the sales teams to build competencies around driving therapy penetration.

The role will require the ability to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team, translate insights into

action, and the ability to identify business accelerators and innovative strategies to overcome market
challenges and drive business. This person is an experienced marketer and demonstrates strength in
general franchise management, operates independently, requiring minimal supervision developing and
executing key franchise strategies.

This role will report into the EMEA Group Marketing Manager within the Business & Market Development team.


Responsibilities:

This role is highly strategic, contributing to all UroPH franchises on continuing to drive the vision for Therapy
development, with special attention to enabling faster adoption on key growth drivers (Rezum &
SpaceOAR)

The main responsibilities of this new role are related to contributing to sales growth by generating sales
opportunities through:

  • Leading the Therapy development cross-functional group to drive the therapy development objectives
  • Defining strategies to move therapies from one phase to the next in the 7x7 matrix
  • Embedding the therapy development framework and components into execution processes
    • Development of evidence-based EMEA value propositions (primary customer & economic customer)
      • Create & drive consistent messaging aligned with value proposition
      • Localisation of evidence-based EMEA value propositions into key markets (UK, Spain, Germany & France)
      • Lead key content development to support the communication of the value proposition
    • Work with cross functional stakeholders to collect and interpret meaningful customer insights and needs
    • Drive and create frameworks with the cross functional team on customer segmentation to enable to targeting of the VP to account, individual and behavioural needs
  • Championing Data evidence generation strategy linked to VP (primary customer & economic customer)
    • Together with MedAff/HEMA teams, ensure that our strongest evidence is referenced, and our strongest and most relevant value drivers are evidenced, and that they are aligned with explicit needs of our customers
    • Champion EMEA evidence plan aligned with VP that is aligned with global and considers local needs
    • Support HEMA/Med Aff on the journey towards positive guidelines recommendation
  • Facilitating VP cascade into the Multi-Channel Marketing strategy
    • Contribute to Campaign development and training execution for delivery of VP to primary customer and economic customer
    • Builds customer goals & contributes to development of customer journeys
    • Drives VP Implementation in Sales Process, using practical and relevant training to build competencies in the sales and marketing teams around using insight and messaging-driven communication.
  • Delivering practical tools & relevant training to the sales team enabling deeper penetration of the therapies
  • Continuously monitoring, refining & adjusting plans based on results to ensure to reach target phase in the matrix, with especial focus on VP implementation & execution
  • Monitoring competitive landscape; anticipating competitive response to changing market dynamics; proactively developing strategies to combat competitive activity

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree required
  • + 10 years of successful related Marketing Pharma and/or medical device experience preferred
  • Experience on clinical & economic study interpretation to drive marketing communications
  • Proven experience on value proposition & messaging/claims build through storytelling
  • Proven experience on managing complex cross-functional projects
  • Desirable experience on DTP/DTR activity
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellence in Project Management
  • Excellence in communication skills
  • Must have demonstrated business partnering skills
