Senior Project Manager - Surrey, Hybrid


A brand new role has become available for a Senior Project Manager within a well-established, leading manufacturer based in the Epsom area - with the business seeing continued success, this is a brand new hire as they look to build out their Business Intelligence and Data teams.

As the Senior Project Manager, you'll sit within their new Advanced Analytics team which has a combined focus on data science, data analytics and data engineering - as they provide cutting-edge data and insights across the entire business.

Within the organisation there is a new focus on sustainability and working towards becoming a 'greener' organisation - they feel with this focus on data to drive the business forward they can bring about real change and see continued success but ensure they leave a positive impact on the environment.


About the role…

Within this role you'll be responsible for the whole project-lifecycle - working with the technology teams to estimate costs and provide timelines for the delivery of the project. This will involve liaising with a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders and taking a lead of the data & insight projects. Other elements of the role may include; setting up project governance, implementing delivery methodology, coaching junior members of the team, delivering projects using agile methodology, drive improvements within data quality/data governance/security.


What we're looking for…

We're looking to speak with a range of candidates with the following experience:

• Strong experience in previous Project Manager roles
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Experience leading data or analytics projects
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Any certifications - eg. certified Scrum Master or PRINCE2 certified would be advantageous
• Experience working alongside technologies such as Power BI, Azure, Machine Learning techniques may be beneficial but by no means essential

Location of the role…

This role will be based in their offices just outside of Epsom - ideally 3 days per week (some flexibility depending on location). This role would also require you to drive as the office is not easily accessible by public transport.

You must also be a UK resident with the full, unrestricted right to work in the UK - unfortunately we're unable to offer sponsorship for this position.
