As a Senior Security Analyst, you will work in our state-of-the-art Security Operations Centre. We use the latest technologies in CCTV and Alarm monitoring.

As part of this exciting opportunity you will be responsible for the monitoring of our alarms and CCTV for all stores, gyms offices and DCs, as well as assisting in the training of our new recruits.

Our SOC is in a Ground Floor location with excellent wheelchair and disabled access, we have a secure on site parking and a subsidised canteen which offers hot and cold food throughout the shifts.

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • To deal with alarm activations efficiently and update the relevant stakeholders
  • To ensure that all procedures in relation to the SOC are followed and escalated where necessary
  • To liaise with the Police/fire in relation to alarm activations
  • To use Technical Knowledge to assist with intruder alarm setting and activations
  • To update Key holders and ensure checks are made to confirm identity
  • To monitor CCTV in stores and report issues to the relevant manager
  • To prepare and send nightly reports on issues
  • To identify faults and escalate to Security Tech recording the incident number
  • To adhere to all company policies and ensure you are working within health and safety guidelines
  • To carry out weekly checks as per the schedule
  • To be professional and courteous at all times
  • To undertake any other reasonable activities in line with the needs of the business
  • To produce footage for the group as requested and ensure compliance with GDPR

Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:

  • Experience of working to health and safety requirements
  • Must display a proactive approach to your duties
  • Excellent computer literacy skills as all information is recorded on databases
  • Able to work under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Works well as part of a team; supportive of others and to supplement the Duty Controller
  • Communicates effectively both written and oral
  • Respond to issues quickly, positively in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Experience of working in the security industry / Alarm Receiving Centre is essential
  • Pass the exam to the required standard once training completed.
