Based in either Cardiff, Manchester or Reading, with the flexibility to work hybrid, the role reports to the Supplier Assurance & Procurement Operations Manager and sits within the Business Controls and Resilience team in the first line.
The Supplier Manager supports the implementation of the Group’s third party risk management framework. The Supplier Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining an appropriate and proportionate level of supplier oversight and management across the Groups supplier base ensuring supplier related risks are identified and mitigated.
The Supplier Manager will be expected to work closely with Group functions that work directly with key suppliers to ensure suppliers meet SLA and other performance measures. Issues are reported upon in a timely and accurate manner.
The role will focus on embedding and maturing the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework in line with Regulatory expectations, so that the risk of supplier failure is mitigated, and a collaborative, value for money approach, is followed wherever possible.
