Are you an inspiring Team Leader looking for a new challenge with North Yorkshire Council?
We currently have a full-time opportunity for a team leader to join Harrogate Home Support based in Harrogate. Harrogate Home Support is a supported living service that plays a vital role in enabling people with a range of complex needs to live more independently. We work hard to ensure people are engaged with their communities and live meaningful and fulfilled lives where they feel a genuine sense of belonging.
We believe that everyone has the right to an independent and fulfilling life and our supported living service will enable people and their families to build skills, develop confidence, help each other and look forward to a positive future.
As a team leader, reporting directly to the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the direct care and support provided by a team of Care & Support Workers within Harrogate Home Support is safe, effective, responsive, caring and well led and complies with both the Care Quality Commission regulated activities and NYC policies and procedures.
The service will be delivered on a 24/7 basis so you will be expected to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.
Whilst we require a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent, we will support those who have a minimum of NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care to achieve the Level 3 within 12 months of commencing in post.
We can offer you the opportunity to:

- Work for a leading care employer
- Be part of committed and supportive team
- Access a range of benefits including generous leave entitlement, a local government pension scheme, salary sacrifice and employee discount benefits
If you have experience of working in Adult Social Care and/or the Health Sector, together with experience of managing staff we look forward to receiving your application for this role.
