Growing and ambitious consultancy is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Building Surveyor who can match their ambition and join their thriving team based remotely working on projects across Kent, Sussex and the surrounding areas. Interested? Read on for further details.

Projects: Education, Commercial and Residential

Company Headcount: 2 - 5

Role of the Building Surveyor:

• Assist with undertaking school condition surveys and reports.
• Organise and collate specialist survey reports to support the capital funding bid.
• Help collate secondary research from educational establishments to support the capital funding bid.
• Assist with the preparation of specifications for tender issue.
• Assist with the production of funding applications following completion of the above items using a bid template.
• Help undertake project management and contract administration roles in delivery of the successful capital funding capital projects.
• Assist the technical teams to undertake core building surveying duties, including condition surveys, specialist defect inspections, asset management plans.
• Help prepare documents such as site visit /Health & Safety reports, minutes and contract administration certificates
• Collate, organise and issue documentation to facilitate the delivery of projects.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, commensurate with the responsibilities of the role

Requirements of the Building Surveyor:

• Hold a Building Surveying degree
• Have a minimum of 1 years Building Surveying experience
• Keen to progress with your APC and ideally be part way through the process
• Hold a full drivers license
