Summary
Here at St Catherine’s we are looking to recruit a committed and ambitious Teaching Assistant to play an important role in the life of a child due to join the school in September 2023.
The role will require that someone is the named person responsible for, alongside the class teacher, the safety and educational provision of the child during their time here at St Catherine’s.
We are looking for someone ambitious for all children, especially those with SEND.
We do not need someone who has any previous experience of having worked with blind children or adults, rather we want someone who is eager to learn, well organised and committed.
This is a long-term commitment and the successful candidate will play an important role in the life of this child.

Essential Qualifications
TA2 qualification of equivalent
Essential Experience
Experience of having worked within an educational setting
Knowledge of safeguarding within schools
Knowledge of safeguarding children with SEND
Desirable Experience
Experience of EYFS
Experience of working with SEND children
Some working knowledge of SEND provision
