History Teacher

Engage Education is currently working with an good school in Runnymede seeking an History teacher to join their dynamic team from September 2023.

The successful applicant will be expected to lead inspirational lessons to all pupils and lead on Humanities across the school.

The incoming History teacher will be expected to deliver dynamic lessons that stretch their classes and encourage a passion for the subject.

The school requires the ideal candidate to have experience of teaching History at secondary school level. Experience of teaching History to an equivalent GCSE level in another country will be taken into consideration.

You must:

• Hold QTS
• Have experience delivering History across the full age, gender and ability range, in a secondary school
• Have a proven background of developing teaching and learning within a Humanities Department to a high standard

You will be joining a supportive staff team, working towards rising student attainment through outstanding teaching and learning. As a member of this school, you can expect to receive ongoing support and training.
