We are looking for 3 x highly motivated Teaching Assistants to support the education, personal and social development of students with additional needs under the teacher’s clear guidance. St. John Fisher is a high achieving, over-subscribed school and we are passionate about the education of our young people.
This role would be suitable for someone:
What will you be doing?
As a Teaching Assistant you will work under the guidance of the SENCo to implement agreed work programmes/intervention strategies with individuals or groups of students both in and out of the classroom. This may include assisting the teacher in their planning and management/preparation of resources.
You’ll relate well to young people, collaborate effectively with other adults and have strong organisational skills. You will be an enthusiastic team player with the ability to use initiative, work independently and stay organised.
You’ll do all this whilst capturing the spirit of our vision and values and whilst role-modelling exceptional professional behaviours.
