Job Description
This role will be based in the United Kingdom and can be done remotely within the UK, with some travel required but must be based in UK and SC Cleared or be able to achieve SC clearance in order to perform this role.
You must have Oracle R12 functional expertise for Supply Chain modules in order to be considered. Oracle modules responsibilities could include: Planning, Forecasting, Engineering, Inventory, Order Management, Sales, Pricing, GTM, Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing, Services, Repair, Supplier, Manufacturing, BOM, WIP etc.
You will be responsible for operating in lock-step with other ERP and Pillar product management teams to create a clear strategic direction for Supply Chain ERP spaces. Translate this strategy into effective business process, configuration and development needs and convey that vision to the build and/or operations team. You will be part of Oracle implementation team for new GE Aerospace businesses where you will partner with business stakeholders to understand Oracle requirements / changes in business processes that will target to Oracle enhancements etc.
In this role, you will:
- Help with implementation of 2 Operating Unit under Aerospace ERP instance.
- Demonstrates excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends and is looked at as an internal expert on the Supply Chain Oracle product as well as the associated competitive landscape.
- Interacts with GE business stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
- Works with cross-functional DT teams to deliver features and significant products.
- Possesses a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.
- Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.
- Owns the releases and sprint product backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.
- Owns and manages the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.
- Prioritizes continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
- Demonstrates strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
- Engages frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.
- Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.
- Partners with Development Leadership/Service Owners to ensure healthy development process.
- Mentors junior team members.
Technical Expertise:
- Significant professional experience in Oracle R12 implementation (12.2 preferred) or support of Oracle R12
- Strong Oracle functional expertise for Oracle ERP Supply Chain modules are essential (Planning, Forecasting, Engineering, Inventory, Order Management, Sales, Pricing, GTM, Purchasing, iSupplier, Manufacturing, BOM, WIP etc.)
Desired Characteristics
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Demonstrate knowledge of Product Owner
- Experience working for Aerospace/Aviation industry, Supply Chain industry, Automotive etc.
- Knowledge of Oracle table structures and SQL skills are preferred
