Job Description

At Evri we’re always on the lookout for new talent. As a strong, ambitious business we don't stand still, always working hard to act and adapt. Fast. We aim to think inside and outside the box, striving to be the carrier of choice for every consumer in the UK.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for Warehouse Operatives to join our growing depot team. We have full time permanent roles available,

What We Can Offer You:

£10.70 per hour (£10.42 basic rate and GEO allowance of £0.28), overtime paid at £15.63 per hour (paid after average 40 hours per week). Hours are 4.00pm - 1.00am, therefore own transportation desirable as there is no public transport available from Weybridge after 11.00pm, or ideally someone who lives local.

In addition to our competitive salary, we offer up to 24 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, 3% contribution into your pension, life assurance and income protection. On top of this, we deliver a fantastic range of flexible benefits. Whether it's shopping vouchers, insurance or healthcare we provide some great perks tailored to you as an individual.

Feeling ambitious? All our roles offer exciting opportunities to climb the career ladder into depot managerial positions. We also offer the opportunity to boost any driving qualifications to a HGV Class 2 or Class 1 driver.

What You’ll Do:

Our Warehouse Operatives are responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles, plus the sorting and scanning of parcels into cages.

Our depots process anything from 40,000 to 100,000 parcels in a shift. But don’t worry, you won’t be tackling them alone! Teamwork will be key and there'll be some smart kit to help. You’ll use hand-held terminals (HHT’s), pump-trucks (once you’re trained) and work with clever conveyor systems that deliver parcels to you. You'll then sort them into “collars” for smaller areas and postcodes.

Our Warehouse Operative full-time contracts are 40hrs per week, either working exclusively days/nights or twilight, including some weekend shifts. We'll make sure you know your rota in advance. Flexible and part-time hours are also available.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

  • Comply with company and health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
  • Ensure scanning compliance
  • Physical fitness
